AABS’s mission is to partner with clients to provide accounting, financial and business advisory services and solutions which are perceived to be innovative and adding exceptional client value.
	The lead financial consultant at AABS is Areef Ali. He received his B.Sc. degree in Industrial Management from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine campus and thereafter an FCCA designation from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom. Areef has completed Euromoney programs in Manhattan, New York in the operation of financial markets and also in corporate valuations.
He is a Microsoft certified Excel 2003 ® expert and a graduate of the Arthur Lok Jack’s School of Business’s “Train the Trainer” programme as well as a number of management development programs. He has over twelve (12) years of experience in the Finance field, including three and a half years at PriceWaterhouse where he was a member of the Audit and Business Advisory Services Group. Areef served as a finance professional at the CLICO Methanol complex. Subsequently he was appointed the Chief Accountant and then the Corporate Finance Head at Caribbean Money Market Brokers Limited. In June 2006 Areef, started AABS.  Projects we have worked on to date include: Design work with a team of business experts on a core business application system Modelling of investment portfolios returns and amortisation calculations Developing procedures for automating reconciliations for business systems cutover FRX reporting software training at both CMMB and Nipdec Developing a database with automated summarisation reports to track voting patterns. Developing course programs for the Arthur Lok Jack School of Business In addition to Areef’s own expertise, AABS draws on the expertise of a pool of associates. These are professionals with 15–20 years experience in areas of competency ranging from internal auditing, Sarbanes Oxley controls reviews, strategic planning, HR & compensation management, staff recruitment as well as IT systems development.
